I really love to read! I always read sci-fi/fantasy as a kid, especially series. Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, of course, but also the Lioness Quartet and basically everything else by Tamora Pierce, as well as the Wheel of Time and the like. Eventually I picked up Vonnegut and got at feminism through humanism. I’m pretty stoked about the Hunger Games movie and I hope they don’t screw it up.

My favorite TV shows include Futurama, Star Trek, the X-Files, Sherlock, Firefly, Doctor Who, Dollhouse, Frasier, Golden Girls, Archer, King of the Hill…

My favorite films include Moulin Rouge, anything by Stanley Kubrick, ALL the Star Trek films, anything by Chris Marker or Agnes Varda…

I’ve survived rape, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and emotional abuse. I’ve had depression and social anxiety diagnoses, but I don’t really believe in diagnoses - though I would say I’m depressed and have social anxiety. I don’t stand for hate and I don’t stand for belittling, and I won’t sit around silently while those things occur.
